Prabowo Asks Volunteers to Check DPT and Give Campaign Fund Donations

Rakyat Utama. Presidential candidate number 02 Prabowo Subianto asked his volunteers to examine the 2019 Election Voter List (DPT) in each of their regions to ensure they were included in the list. Prabowo also appealed to volunteers to donate funds to support campaign costs.

Prabowo's request was made during the declaration of Prabowo-Sandiaga's national volunteer at Istora, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday (11/22). In the event, it was estimated that there were more than 3,000 people combined with 296 groups from 815 groups and volunteer organizations supporting Prabowo-Sandiaga. The volunteers came from various regions in Indonesia. In fact, there are also volunteers who come from abroad, such as the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Timor Leste, and Malaysia.

"We ask for help, please check the DPT. Check in your RW and RT," Prabowo said. This was done to ensure that there were no multiple identity data in the DPT in the area of ​​each volunteer. The reason, the General Election Commission (KPU) until Tuesday (11/20) still found the potential for multiple data in the DPT of 1.19 million voters.

He also asked his volunteers to help contribute funds. The funds will be used by Prabowo with Sandiaga Uno to campaign. Prabowo said he was currently short of funds. The same thing was experienced by parties in the Indonesia Fair and Prosperous Coalition which carried it. "We are asking for willingness to help Rp. 2,000, Rp. 5,000, Rp. 10,000, Rp. 20,000. Deputy Chairperson of the BPN Prabowo-Sandiaga, Eddy Soeparno said, the funds requested to the volunteers were not intended for the operation of the winning team. One of these funds will be used to campaign in the media.

In addition, Eddy said that the funds were needed to provide witnesses and attribute needs. "Of course we are waiting, expecting assistance in self-help, mutual cooperation from the community as much as possible. No matter what the people give up and give up, we accept it," Eddy said.

A number of volunteers are currently donating funds to Prabowo-Sandiaga. Eddy said, BPN Prabowo-Sandiaga would not see the value of the donated funds but rather the spirit of community sacrifice to win the presidential candidate and vice presidential candidate number 02.

However, Eddy acknowledged that there were no joint accounts that were used as a place for holding funds from volunteers. Eddy said, the joint account will soon be made by the BPN Prabowo-Sandiaga. "Later the joint account will be a holding account of all funds which are independently collected by the community," said Eddy.
