Suspect in the Case of Drunk Sanggat Sanitary Napkins is Difficult to be Entangled in the Law

Deputy for Eradication of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) Inspector General Arman Depari said that to deal with it his party would process the perpetrators with alleged abuse.
"Usually the drug is abuse. This is what we will do again.
Bandages are legal products and not a type of narcotics. Therefore Depari said that the National Narcotics Agency is still studying this phenomenon from various aspects, including legal aspects.
In the process of investigating cases like this, he said, the BNN would review the applicable rules and trace the reasons for the perpetrators of misusing the product.
Actors can be charged by law if there is an element of intentional misuse of goods into narcotics. Conversely, the BNN will provide different treatment if investigators find an element of accident.
"If for example there is a violation of the law or indeed there is an accident, it is indeed a different method of handling," he said.
The difficulty of ensnaring the perpetrators was also recognized by the Head of the Eradication of BNN Central Java Province Adjunct Senior Commissioner Suprinarto.
"We cannot take action against them, legal actions cannot be done because goods are used legally and not narcotics or psychotropic substances," Suprinarto said.
As for what can be done now, he said, namely educating the public not to abuse the product.
"Our steps can provide education to them that deviant behavior is detrimental to health," he continued.
